Brothers Day in Taipei WWD
兄弟節慶在台北婦女部門

On the occasion of the “Brothers Day”, the 20th October, the local Didis and sisters had prepared a wonderful program for all invited Dadas and brothers margiis. We had Dharma Cakra, a touching Dharma Shastra by A’c. Shantatma’nanda Avt, collective sharing and a delicious meal!! Didi Ananda Rashmika and all sisters collectively read 3 times the mantra that is published in Carya Carya part 1 for this very day:
Bhrátá me ciráyurbhavatu [May my brother have a long life].

10/20這天是兄弟節, 每個當地的婦女部門都會為受邀請的Dada及兄弟瑪琪們準備一個美好的歡慶活動. 那天在台北婦女福利部門, 我們有舉辦團體靜坐, 由A’c Shantatma’nanda Avt 負責準備美味的食物並大家一起集體共享. 而Didi Ananda Rashmika和所有的姊妹們也一起唱送三次Madhu Mantra (各位可以在阿南達瑪迦生活指引卷一讀到這篇Madhu Mantra)

Service activities in Taipei:
在台北的社會服務活動:

1) 25th October 2009 – Homeless lunch box distribution in Long Shan Temple.

Nearly 30 margiis gathered in Long Shan Temple for lunch boxes distribution. We gave more that 200 lunch boxes to homeless from 11:30 to 12:00 hrs. It has been a very inspiring event, where we sang kiirtan and did public sa’dhana’ once the distribution was done. Some of items were cooked in PROUT office coordinated by Dada Rasabuddhanandaji and sister Kamalikaji. Other items were prepared in the Jagrti with the coordination of Tapeshvaraji and Dada Karunamaya. Our aim is to reach 300 people next time, and to be sure that we have enough rice!

10/25/2009 – 龍山寺遊民便當分送活動

將近有30位瑪琪一起聚集在龍山寺前分送遊民愛心便當. 我們從早上11:30到12:00分送 了將近200個愛心便當. 這是一個非常激勵人心的活動, 在那裡我們也唱kiirtan及集體靜坐. 便當的製作是由Prout的Dada Rasabuddhanandaji及Kamalikaji姐妹, 還有台北瑜伽屋Dada Karunamaya及Tapeshvaraji統籌一起準備的. 希望下一次我們可以準備300個便當跟更多人分享.

2) 5th November – Lin Kou Mentally retarded School.

Lin Kou activities continue with great success. The children are getting more confident and sincere in their participation each time we are there. They enjoy maximum the kiirtan and the special attention given by the teachers, whom are doing a wonderful work with those needed children! Thank you!!

11/05/2009 – 林口啟智學校服務

林口啟智學校這個專案目前仍持續進行中, 並且得到非常棒的回應. 這些孩子們在每次我們的陪伴下一起練習體位法, 並從體位法中得到更多信心. 他們很喜歡老師帶他們一起唱跳Kiirtan及其他活動, 因為每位老師都是非常用心付出給予的. 謝謝各位老師.

We are planning to have a ten minutes a’sana presentation for this coming December to be presented in the school during their Christmas program.

我們計畫要在十二月校方所舉辦的歡慶聖誕活動中安排一個十分鐘的體位法成果展.

During the last visit, the teachers, with their Principal’s approval, has said that we are the only group coming to the school, who can give some sense of peace and calmness to the children, getting a special request from them, for us to continue next year. Initiatives are taking place to organize the schedule for 2010.

在上次到校服務時, 校方老師表示他們發現阿南達瑪迦的瑜伽教學的確能帶給孩子祥和平靜的感覺, 所以他們也特別跟校長要求明年度一定還要再邀請阿南達瑪迦繼續這樣的瑜伽教學服務, 並且也已經取得校長的支持. 所以目前阿南達的服務以經列入他們2010的活動行事曆中.

3) 11th November 2009 – Zao Ru Elder’s Care Center

We have been for the 4th time in the Zao Ru Elder’s Care Center, where more than 25 joyful elderly enjoyed the power of Kiirtan, Prabhata Saungiita and different sharing. Everyone was very happy and thankful for our visit. Sulekha, Ishita, Us’a’, Kamalika, Diipak, Tripti and Dada Karunamaya were present.

11/11/2009 – 兆如養老院服務

這已經是我們第四次來到兆如養老院做服務了. 超過25位老人一起參與Kiirtan及曙光之歌及各種活動, 所有的老人都非常開心極感嗯我們的來訪. 這次參與活動的夥伴有; Sulekha, Ishita, Us’a’, Kamalika, Diipak, Tripti還有Dada Karunamaya.

Service in Zhong Li
中壢服務活動

Service activities are taking place in Zhong Li as well. Every second Sunday of the month, margiis gather together and visit the Chensenmei Sanatorium (真善美啟能發展中心）。Address: 桃園縣中壢市龍昌路346-20號 (Zhong Li City), where 20 to 25 youth and adults attend the program. The activity consist of collective games, kiirtan, meditation, sharing and snacks for everyone.

中壢的服務活動也是做得非常的棒. 每個月的第二個星期日瑪琪們就會聚集起來一起到真善美啟能發展中心做服務. 那裡有20~25位年輕人及成年人, 所有的人都會一起參與團體遊戲, Kiirtan, 靜坐, 及餐點的分享.

Everybody enjoys the spiritual company and feels happy to part of this.

所有的人都非常享受這樣的靈性團體並感到非常的快樂.

台北瑜伽屋活動訊息

* Every Saturday there is Cooking Class by Sister Urmilaji. There has been about 6 people coming for the last 4 Saturdays, to learn how to prepare delicious vegetarian items. Contact Urmila for more information: urmila@gogo.net.tw

* 每週六下午有Urmilaji所主持的烹飪課程, 敎大家如何烹調美味可口的悅性素食料理. 目前已經敎了四堂課, 有六位同學一起參與, 如需更多訊息或有興趣的夥伴們請和Urmilaji聯繫; urmila@gogo.net.tw

* The Farmer’s Club continues its regular activities. There has been a class given by brother Jiivandeva about Permaculture (which is an approach to designing human settlements and perennial agricultural systems that mimics the relationships found in natural ecologies).There are plans to give some of this classes in the coming Thursdays…plus many other activities! 花蓮訊息

Initiatives are taking place from the local margiis in Hua Lien (with the coming of three families that just moved there), to re-organize the unit, have regular Dharma cakra and pracar/service activities.

花蓮當地的瑪琪一起發動要再重新組成一個單位, 期望未來能夠透過這個單位或組織持續定期舉辦團體靜坐及各項慶典活動或服務.

” We must always bear in mind the fact that when Parama Puruśa wants us to attain Him, then and only then will we get Him. And what determines when we are ready for Him to take us? He looks to see if we truly love only Him down to the depths of our hearts. In each and every moment of our lives He is testing us to see if we have reached this degree of devotion, or whether there is still in fact some worldly desire that diverts our thoughts from Him.”
