The Mahaprayan Diivas) was held in Ananda Nagar on 21 to 26 October. A three hour Akhanda Kiirtans was held daily from 21st October till 25 October 2008. There was also a 24 hour Kiirtans in Kiirtans Mandap of
Ananda Nagar on 26th October. All Delhi sector Dada’s and Didis, margiis from Ranchi, Kolkata region and other places, some Sectorial Secretaries and overseas Dadas and Didis attended the Kiirtans with full inspiration and devotion. Many new Kiirtans tunes were introduced by famous Kiirtans singers.
Ac. Nirmohananda Avt. Secretary central Acarya board gave an inspiring talk to the gathering, mentioning his experiences with Marga Gurudev Baba. He mentioned that it is our solemn duty to fulfill the task of Baba and materialize the programs of His mission. We must have firm determination as Baba Himself especially wanted the WT workers to carry on sublime duties. He said that Baba was always positive; He never spoke negatively and never allowed negative thoughts to prevail. So we, the sons and daughter of Baba, should march ahead carrying the flag of Marga. Delhi sector RDS was also held from 24 to 29 of October
2008. RDS program was very inspiring and workers requested to have same quality RDS in future. Inspiring as well as educative Classes were given by our senior Dadas from central and overseas sectors.

Year 2008 is the Golden Jubilee celebration of RU RAWA Dept. Many places of Delhi sector celebrated RU meeting and RAWA program in Ranchi, Patna, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Bangalore, Chennai, Kathamandu, Jaipur, Allahabad etc. Local media gave full coverage of the program including Newspaper, Radio and TV.

On 28th October Purodha Pramukha election was held at thee camp headquarter, Ranchi. The election of PP was conducted by a legitimate body of Purodha as per Carya Carya. Election managing body (EMB) declared Ac. Vishvadevananda Avt. as Purodha Pramukha of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha. The Purodha Board welcomed Rev. PP Dada, giving to him a garland, and PP Dada gave a garland to Baba’s Pratikrti. Tandava
and Koshikii were performed and he received guard of honor by ASD volunteers. He gave his first speech, addressing all present Tattvikas, Acarya, Avadhuta, Purodha and margii brothers and sisters.

He arrived in Ananda Nagar Head quarter of Ananda Marga Pracaraka Samgha on 29th morning. He was welcomed with love and affection. A procession consisting of dozens of vehicles with bodyguards and
volunteers, Dada’s and Didis, Margii brothers and sisters was traveling with him. First he went to Marga Gurudeva Quarter to Garland Baba’s Pratikrti. Guard of honor was given to him in Ananda Nagar by all volunteers working in Ananda Nagar. Baba’s quarter was decorated with flowers and Diipak (Oil lamp and candle lights) for the occasion of Diipavali, the festival of light and victory. His coming gave much joy and happiness to all on this auspicious day. Worker felt strong spiritual vibrations and Baba’s presence in Ananda

From 30 October WRDS started in his presence. First silence was observed for departed soul of Ac. Shraddhananda Avt. Dada’s and Didis from all 9 sectors attended this world RDS. Classes were given by Ac.
Shambhushivanada Avt. and Ac. Shiilabhadrananda Avt. on the Historical role of Ananda Marga Acaryas in the present crisis of the world and how to be an effective worker.
Dr. Susmita Kumar from USA gave an online class using a new live meeting program. The topic was the present economic crisis and PROUT’s solution. He is author of a book entitled Modernization of Islam. It
was a very educative and inspiring class for all workers present.
WRDS concluded today in presence of Rev PP Dada Ac. Vishvadevananda Avt. He mentioned that RDS is a very important event as it is a process of Positive interaction between centre and sector. He also mentioned that it is our collective duty to improve the quality of RDS to get maximum output for His mission. This is the demand of the day. He stressed his concern on WT creation. If there is internal urge then only external demands get fulfilled. He requested all Sectorial Secretaries to inspire departmental representatives to
attend Junior and senior RDS.
