Rajadhiraja Yoga, translated as “King of Kings Yoga”, refers to a system of yoga that emphasizes a happy and healthy lifestyle. The yoga classes are designed to help students in all around development.
Rajadhiraja Yoga focuses on authentic, spiritually focused yoga that includes not only asanas (the physical poses associated with yoga) but also includes the seven other limbs of Ashtanga Yoga.
2. What are the prerequisites of learning Rajadhiraja Yoga?
The only thing required is a desire to learn. Contrary to popular belief, yoga is not about overly-strenuous exercise and crazy contortionist poses. The ultimate goal of our asana (posture) practice is to relax the body and mind. It’s suitable for people of all ages, body types, and abilities.
3. Is Rajadhiraja Yoga for everyone?
Absolutely. But not everyone can practice all types of Asanas. Some Asanas are prohibited if the body has certain ailments. Therefore it is strongly suggested to learn yoga from a trained yoga instructor and not only from books or videos.
4. Is there any charge for learning yoga?
We provide our classes as a service to the community and strive to make our prices affordable and reasonable. Unfortunately, Malta is quite expensive so we need to charge a small fee to cover our costs. However, individual meditation instruction is taught free of charge.
5. If it is less expensive, will the classes be the same quality as the more expensive yoga studios in Malta?
Again, we provide our yoga classes as a service to the community, not to make a profit. Despite our low prices, are class sizes are small (with less than 10 people) and the instructor is a sincere, spiritually focused, and highly trained professional.
6. I am planning to learn Yoga and Meditation for some specific health issues. Do you have any Asanas for that?
Generally speaking there are always some Asanas which can help alleviate specific medical conditions. But these are not substitute for expert medical advice. If you are having serious health problems, contact a medical professional.

8. Are Yoga and Meditation proven to be beneficial?

9. Is Yoga religious?
While yoga has its roots in Indian spiritual traditions, our method of yoga is open to anyone and everyone, regardless of religious or non-religious affiliation. Our method of yoga is spiritual, meaning that it focuses on development and expansion in all the spheres of human existence. We are actively opposed to narrow-mindedness, superstition, and dogma. All of our practices are grounded in science and are proven to be beneficial.
10. Who can join?
Anyone can join yoga and meditation classes, just let the teacher know if you are injured or have any special concerns.
11. Do you provide yoga mats?
The teacher will provide a yoga mat, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
