In memory of Dharmaputra, who served Ananda Kanan for more than 15 years, we are
establishing a solar energy project at Ananda Kanan. This year our target will
be to build and install solar hot water heaters for the jagrti (white house).
Long term, the goal is to make Ananda Kanan as energy independent as possible by
equipping all the buildings with solar hot water and photovoltaic systems.

The shraddha ceremony for Dharmaputra will be held at Ananda Kanan on Sunday
January 18 starting at 9am with a 3 hour kiirtan.
