“Ananda Marga Spiritual Conference” – “Golden Jubilee Celebration of Prout” at Madhu Karuna (Germany) from ” July 27-Aug 2, 2009 ”
This year’s Summer Conference of Berlin Sector hosted 50th Anniversary of Prout at our site in Madhu Karuna (Germany). Central representative Ac Nigamananda Avadhuta and Prout Global Secretary Acarya Siddhayogananda Avadhuta along with SWWS Avtka Ananda Praveda Ac and SS Ac Krpamayananda Avt, set the tone of the conference at the Opening ceremony on July 28th morning. Central representative read out the message of PP dada to the margiis of Berlin sector. On behalf of Margii brother Manohar and Sister Rita expressed warm welcome to the margiis and acaryas. Prabhata Samgiita by sister Asha and offering of flowers by representatives to Baba’s PRATIKRTI made the opening ceremony all the more blissful and inspiring. This was followed by 21 hr Akhanda Kiirtan until 8 am on 29th.
Margii devotees of Berlin sector eagerly and patiently wait for this event to meet and share their experiences—most importantly enjoy blissful long kiirtans, the main attraction. There was a quite sizable gathering of 340 from Berlin sector (East and West Europe) including Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, South Korea, Israel, Russia, Nigeria and many more. The days began with Páiṋcajanya followed by 3 hr kiirtans every morning.

Since the conference was dedicated to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Prout, there were more presentations and workshops on Prout and Samaj. In addition there were workshops on AMURT/EL, Education and Master Units. Acarya Shambhushivananda Avt presented Prout in a new light to create a new world society while solving all present and future problems. He also stressed that it is the right time in the wake of Global economic crisis to create all round awareness through Prout and Neo-humanism. In addition, develop self-reliant sustainable Master Unit models throughout the world.
Ac Siddhayogananda Avt, the Global Prout Secretary, explained the need of Samaj movement and importance of Decentralized Economic system called Economic Democracy in order to create an economic self-sufficiency to do away with all forms of exploitation. While brother Prabhakar (Norway) gave workshop on the salient features of Prout and ways to deal with the real issues in order to involve people to fight out the prevalent exploitative system that curtails the genuine rights of common people in the field of agriculture and industry. Thus he suggested and emphasized the need of three tier industrial system and cooperatives. This triggered a new enthusiasm in the minds of all those, who participated the programs to learn and work for the implementation of Prout.
Ac Nigamananda Avt gave a presentation on the organizational structure of AM and need of structural solidarity. He also outlined that all margiis must have specific duties and responsibilities called optee-ship. This will make them integral part of the organization and help build proper organization from unit to the global level, a pyramidical structure. On the other hand Ac Shubhatmananda Avt, Sect.DPS, spoke on various aspects of sadhana, our spiritual practices, the real foundation of our lives.
Kiirtans: Akhanda and long kiirtans have been the special attraction of the conference. Sixty hours of blissful kiirtans vibrated the whole atmosphere all through the program.
Rawa and Cultural Evenings: Like yester years on 29th and 30th Ac Gatimayananda Avt, RU and Rawa secretary, has organized very colorful evenings. First evening began with the opening Prabhat Samgiita by Asha. Then Tapasi from Switzerland presented a beautiful dance by small sisters based on the Prabhata Samgiita (English) “This life is for Him” which received a big applause. Rest of the evening was filled with various talented artists with variety of items. And grand oriental classical dance/music presented by Ganga and a short dance by Laxmi from London that captivated the audience, indeed.
On the 30th, sisters from London region presented the AMURT song lead by Didi Ananda Prama and sister Meeta. During this Rawa evening, regional folk songs from Portugal, Germany were led by Madhuvani, and by Kailash, Ainjali and other margiis respectively. There was drama presented by children about theme called “Golden Egg” directed by Omprakash(Germany).
Publication/Rawa and Kiirtan CDs: A lot of Baba’s books, ÁNANDA MÁRGA publication, Kiirtan and PS CDs, and various other publications were sold in good number.

Ananda Café/AMURT: This was run by Ac Rasatmakananda Avt. This is a place that people visit during free time and buy different products and the proceeds goes to help AMURT Children Home project in Romania. This time uniquely many young children as part of children program went around collecting donations for the project.
Project exhibition/AMURT/EL presentation by Didi Ananda Harimaya, Dada Rasatmananda brother Manohar and other dadas and didis who are working with different projects was very well received and acknowledged. In fact, this created an enthusiasm to work on service projects run and sponsored by AMURT in Africa and other countries of Asia and South America.
Táńd́ava and Kaoshikii competition: This was another highlight of the conference and this time prize for longest Táńd́ava for 17 minutes was won by Narada from Switzerland first, second prize was Govinda, Italy and third was bagged by Poland Mikolaj. The Best style in Táńd́ava was by Vaekunta.

Kaoshikii sisters was Sadhana from Germany, Meeta from UK and Ajaya from Russia.
Boys Kaoshikii was won by Tanmaya
Children Kaoshikii was won by Jyosna from Italy, Priiti from Italy.
Significant outcome: The most significant outcome of the program: as many as 15 initiations, hundreds of lesson reviews and one WT, who will proceed to WT Training Centre in Sweden very soon. In addition, margiis took resolve to activate the AMPS units in their respective places.
The last day, the 1st of August, there was Sadhana shivir in the morning. In the afternoon ACB and regional meetings, which were very productive, because this time we focused on building up a structure as per the trade and departmental duties given by Baba. The evening hosted
