Daniela Borg attains good physical health and mental happiness by practicing yoga at the Ananda Marga Yoga Center located at Gzira, Malta.

Daniela Borg said “Yoga helps me maintain good mental and physical health.”

Daniela said she attended her first yoga class when she was 17 years old, which was 17 years ago at the Ananda Marga Yoga Center, Gzira.

“I actually tried yoga the first time at the Ananda Marga Yoga Center in Malta.”

Borg attends yoga classes twice a week at the yoga center. Beside classes Borg performs meditation and yoga asanas three to five times a week at her home. Yoga classes include breathing exercises, yoga asanas, yoga poses, meditation and relaxation.

“The asanas help me mostly by maintaining a healthy spine, Borg said. “Regular practice and stretching keep me flexible and in shape. Meditation brings positive mental energy, sustaining a happy and peaceful outlook on life.

Yoga helps Borg to gain physical and mental health.

“I work in an office so since I am mostly sitting down and mental health can be easily jeopardized, yoga keeps me physically active and mentally relaxed,” Borg said. “Yoga became my part of life. It is a way of my life.”

Yoga helps to overcome stress and anxiety.

“I can see a huge difference from times when I had stopped the practice,” Borg said. “Anxiety is a thing of the past.”

Borg recommends people to join the yoga classes at the Ananda Marga Yoga Center.

Borg’s goal is to live a balanced life. She said she uses the wisdom that she gains over time by helping others.

Borg said she wants to continue on the path of a content and happy life even with the challenges she faces on a daily basis.
