Yoga helps to relax body and mind

Occupancy – qualified beauty therapist Indre Saikaite (24) from Lithuania attends yoga classes at the Ananda Marga Yoga Center, Gzira once a week.

“At first I was living in Gozo and attending classes there,” said Saikaite.

Saikaite said at first she came to Malta for her internship for less than three months at the luxury spa in Gozo, which turned up to three years on the islands.

Yoga helps me stop and embrace the moment, makes me feel relaxed and more grounded.” Saikaite said. “Also yoga helps me physically.”

Saikaite said she has been attending yoga classes since summer 2016.

Asanas helps body parts to function better and meditation helps for the mind.” Saikaite said. Yoga help her to overcome her stress and anxiety.

Saikaite said she recommends others to join the yoga classes.

“My goal is to be the best version of myself throughout the day,” said Saikaite.
